ABOUT DOGGY PLAYDATES

Doggy Playdates provides a way for families to give their dogs exercise in a fun, safe and healthy environment
during the workday.

While a 30min walk may be enough exercise for some dogs, others may need more time to burn off a bit more energy. Therefore, we created a way for dogs to stretch their legs in a full run and to play safely with their furry friends.

WHAT WE DO

We will pick up your pup from home, bring them to a trail or large dog park for 90min to get their wiggles out, and give them the exercise they need to be a healthy dog! We will then, rinse and towel dry them, or just brush them off depending on how much they became “one with mother nature” during their play. We will then bring them home, let them relieve themselves before they enter the house, fill their water bowl, and tuck them in for a rest before you arrive home. They will be happy, healthy and content for the night.

CERTIFICATION IS IMPORTANT

Doggy Playdates is a fully insured organization that puts safety and health as top priorities. Therefore, we are Cat & Dog First Aid and CPR Certified.

I have taken it a step further and have enrolled in a course to become an obedience and behavior trainer to better understand my furry clients. With this training, I have learned how to read your dog’s cues to keep them playing safely! When I have completed the course, I will begin the training portion of the business!

ABOUT LAURA

I grew up with dogs, cats, a hamster, and even a bearded dragon. All animals are a passion of mine! No, I did not become a veterinarian, though it was an idea. I took care of kids as a babysitter, as a preschool teacher, then as a nanny. As a babysitter and nanny, I was also asked to care for the families’ pets. Though I loved taking care of others’ children and pets, I knew that my dog, Diogi, was waiting for me at home.

That is when I chose to start Doggy Playdates! Diogi loves to frequent the dog park, and I know many other dogs do too, but with a busy work schedule, I know it is hard to take time at the end of the day to bring your pup to the park. After completing the contract with my nanny family, I brought Diogi, Jenna, Pita, Baxter, Brooklyn, and Oz to the park! They loved playing, running and relaxing! Seeing them so happy confirmed the reason why I started this business!
